Applications

Development of the Web application started at the beginning of 2005, in specifically for personal vehicles. Since then the application has been evolving and nowadays there are several versions (solutions) also for special vehicles, machines and persons. It was a priority from the beginning to create an application which would be easily administrated and controlled. In the main we wanted the system to be simple, flexible and affordable so that the purchase costs of hardware and software and operator training would be compensated by direct and indirect savings within 6 months from the service launch.

The following were the key requirements:

  • Web interface of the application eliminates the necessity to install the software to customer´s, driver´s or other users´ computers.
  • The possibility to work with the system from any place and computer connected to the Internet (preferably via Mozilla Firefox browser).
  • Securing of the data transmitted via SSL transmission encryption between the application and user.
  • Smooth distribution model without the need for written contracts. The pre-paid service is active immediately after fitting into the vehicle, first logging of the user to the Web service interface and acceptance of the general conditions of using the service. The usage ends after expiration of the pre-paid period (6 months, 1 year). Prolonging of the service is possible after purchasing the subscription fee for the next period. The system itself automatically monitors and notifies about the remaining pre-paid period.
  • Independent from the platform and user´s operational system (Linux, Win, Mac, PDA)
  • Simple and regular data back-up.
  • Minimum operational and data requirements and operational costs.
  • Free definable levels of authorization for individuals or groups.
  • Possibility to create own POI (Point of Interests) object databases on individual user or company levels.
  • Data display of journeys onto the map base covering the whole of Europe up to street level.
  • Fully automatic periodical data download from mobile vehicle modules.
  • Export of journey logbook data to a generally usable format suitable for other processing.
  • Extendable interface for simple implementation of other planned services.
